There are many issues that need attention during this time of year when people often feel more vulnerable because it is darker outside or they are alone in their home. One issue that has been largely overlooked is how much domestic violence can affect a victim\\'s emotional health during the winter months. Winter is an especially difficult time for survivors who may not have the necessary means or are scared to leave.
